Jusczak hits 1000 in win over Jaguars

The MLWR Lady Rebels took down the Hinkley-Finlayson Jaguars in dominating fashion on Monday night, winning the game 64-37 as junior forward Adri Jusczak hit the 1000 point plateau, becoming the latest in a great list of Rebels players to reach that mark.

The Rebels took a 32-17 lead into the half and would dominate the second half as well, outscoring the Jaguars 32-20 while on their way to taking the game 64-37.

Leading the Lady Rebels in the victory was a balanced attack. Adri Jusczak had a team high 16 points and Morgan Prachar and Ava Szczyrbak both tallied 10. Also, Hayley Johnson notched 8, Kayla Radel scored 7, Jodi Michalski added 4, Ally Bode scored 3, and Dana Olson, Hannah Walker, and Holly Mattison topped it off with 2 a piece.

The Jaguars were lead by Dana Tekavec, who had a game high 17 points. Also scoring for the Jaguars was Breezy Schultz with 6, Laken Lymburner tallying 4, Ashley Mohs adding 2, and Kelly McFarland topping it off with 1.

The Lady Rebels improve to 14-3 on the season and will square off with the McGregor Mercuries (14-3) on the road on February 6th. The Jaguars fall to 2-12 on the season and will search to bounce back against the Ogilvie Lions (5-10) on February 6th.
