The Wilderness jumped out to a 3-0 lead and survived a comeback attempt by the Minotauros, capturing the win, 3-2. The Wilderness jumped ahead with a 1^st period goal from Alex Trapp.

Goals from Nick Altmann and Connor Bucsis early in the 2^nd period increased the lead to 3-0 for the Wilderness.

Minot stormed back with goals later in the 2^nd period from Austin Martinsen and Johnny Walker, but could not find the equalizer.

Wilderness goalie Chase Munroe made 25 saves in the win, while Minot goalie Lucas Murray took the loss, making 19 saves

MN Wilderness 2 @ Minot 1 (SO) –

The Minnesota Wilderness completed a weekend road sweep of the Minot Minotauros thanks to a 2-1 shootout win on Saturday.

Luke Kania made 30 saves in the win, which included stopping all six Minot shooters in the shootout.

Minot took an early lead in the game thanks to a goal from Colten Berg. The Wilderness would answer early in the 2^nd period on a goal from Alex Toscano.

In the shootout, Wilderness forward Aaron Miller had the only goal of the 12 combined shooters. Minot goalie Lucas Murray played well in the loss, making 42 saves.
