Moose Lake Blows By Northern Lakes

The girl’s hockey team of Moose Lake crushed opponent Northern Lakes by a score of 7-0. Moose Lakes Jessica Bird would get the hat trick with three goals.

In the first period, Jessica Bird scored in the 6:51 minute, while Jamie bird would follow her lead, scoring at the 15:41 mark for the quick 2-0 lead.

Asia Gobel netted the lone goal for Moose Lake in the second period off of the Sage Gerard assist to bring the lead 3-0.

In the third period, the Rebels offense would come uncorked, seeing Jessica Bird score back-to-back goals for her hat trick. Gobel would get her second goal on the night at the 3:42 mark in the third period.

Jamie Bird topped off the night with Moose Lakes seventh goal.

Maddy Gamst ended the game with 15 saves for Moose Lake, while Alex Holm finished with 24 for Northern Lakes.
