Cloquet rolled out to a 26-point halftime lead and then powered their way to an easy 57-18 win over the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers in girls’ basketball contest on Thursday night at Cloquet High School.

The Jacks zipped ahead 37-11 in the first half and were never threatened by the Hilltoppers who did not have a player in double-figure scoring.

Leading Marshall was Maddie Eyer with nine points.

Cloquet improves to 10-5 and will play at Esko Friday night.

Duluth Marshall falls to 7-9 on the season and they will face the Spartans of Superior on Saturday night in Superior.
