Katrina Newman was again named Polar League MVP as she leads the Bombers into the Section 5A playoffs next week. Newman averaged over 22 points per game, shooting 65% from the field. Newman, who also averaged over 9 rebounds and nearly 5 assists per game, was a clear choice as the Polar League MVP.

Barnum dominated the all-conference team. Along with MVP Katrina, Sarah Myhre and her sister Jessica were named to the first team. Leah Nordvall was named to the second team and Barnum’s fifth starter, Katie Myhre was named as honorable mention.

The rest of the first team all-conference was Keely Deadrick from Esko, Essa Jacobson from Cook County and Alissa Autio of Floodwood. Second team All-Conference was Nordvall from Barnum, Christina Nelson of Cook County, Amanda Bergstedt form Esko, and Natasha Dragicevich of Moose Lake-Willow River.

Players named to the honorable mention team include Arianna Korpela of Cromwell, Sarah Aili from Carlton, Katie Myhre from Barnum, Brea Boomer from Cook County, Lydia Pelletier and Freshman Savanna Trappof Esko, Brea Durovec from Floodwood, Sarah Sample of McGregor, Maddy Adamczak from Moose Lake-Willow River, and Abby Ray from Two Harbors.
