ESKO – Rebekah Dahlman had a game that not many players would forget Thursday night as she led the Bombers to an 81-58 win in Esko. Dahlman was a one person offensive attack at times. She continued to drive and force the Eskomos to try to stop her penetrating the lane, but in the end Esko would commit to many fouls, sending her to the free throw line eighteen times.

Dahlman capitalized on her eighteen trips to the line by making sixteen free throws. With the big Section 7AA win, the 10th ranked Bombers are put in first place in the section standings. However, Esko is still able to obtain the top seed because they have more games remaining. Furthermore,
with Esko regrouping and putting wins on the score sheet, they should gain the top seed.

Esko jumped out to an early three point lead in the first few minutes, but saw that small lead evaporate when Braham went on a 10-0 run and never looked back. Esko put together small runs to cut into the Bomber lead, but every time they would come within six or seven points the Bombers answered right back and pulled away.

The Eskomos cut the lead down to seven in the second half with 7 minutes remaining and had a chance to cut even more in to the Bomber’s lead, but missed free throws then propelled Braham to close out the final seven minutes on a 27-11 run and win this game by twenty three.

Following Dahlman’s 38 points, was Kelsey Sorenson with 17 points, Hannah Dahlman poured in 12 points, Katie Nickles finished with 7, Liz Anderson scored 4 and Maria Shockman ended with 2.

Keely Deadrick led Esko with 20 points on the night, joining her in double figures was Amanda Bergstedt with 13 points. Lydia Pelletier and Savanna Trapp each had 8 points, Alyson Glumac scored 6 and Katie Tonner ended with 3.

Esko is now18-4 on the season and will be back in action Friday night when they host Cook County. Braham improves to 20-4 on the season and are at home next Thursday night against Pierz.
