The Eskomos have had a fantastic season early on, only dropping a early season match-up with the Hermantown Hawks. All signs point towards them forgetting that loss as they rolled to another victory, this time over the Duluth Denfeld Hunters, as Esko grabbed the 75-50 victory.

Esko would get to a very fast start against the Hunters, grabbing a large lead at halftime of 42-17. The Hunters would match the play of the Eskomos, with each team scoring 33-33, but that wouldn’t be enough as Esko would roll to their 5th straight victory 75-50.

Leading Esko and all scorers on the evening would be Kory Deadrick would posted 24 points. Marc Peterson and Casey Staniger would both also get into double digits as each score 11 points. Jaxon Turner and Jacob Lindstrom added 9, Nate Johnson punched in 6 points, Aaron Olson added 4, and Alex Walther topped it off with 1.

With the win, the Eskomos improve their record to 6-1 and will be back into action on December 19th when they welcome a tough opponent, the Virginia Blue Devils (6-1) to town. The loss knocks the Hunters down to a 0-4 record and they’ll play the Bloomington Jefferson (3-2) on Saturday, December 21st at 12:45 PM.
