Lady Bombers Outpace Carlton

The Barnum Bombers exploded Monday night for 88 points to cruise to the 88-35 win at home on Monday night. The Bombers, still without Katrina Newman due to an ankle sprain last week, did not miss a beat as they rolled to the 53-point win.

Barnum came out strong and built up a huge 49-13 lead at halftime. Things continued to roll the Bombers way in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 39-22.

Sarah Myhre finished with a game high of 22 points on the night. Jess Newman and Leah Nordvall added 17 points in the Bomber win. Claire Rodgers pitched in with 14 points on the night. Katie Myhre added nine points, all on three pointers, Jenna Zymslony finished with 8 and Candice Paulson ended with 3.

Sarah Aili paced the Bulldogs Monday night with 11 points. Savannah Schramm added 7, Hallie Raisanen ended with 6, Lindsey Dahl-Holm scored 5 points and Katie Bloom, Brooke Camps and Clarissa Nelson all scored 2 points in the loss.

Barnum improves to 17-2 on the season and will face Cromwell in Cromwell Thursday night. The Bulldogs fall to 7-13 on the season and travel to Two Harbors on Thursday to face the Agates.
