Thunder Women pick up first Win in School History

Our Thunder women’s basketball team was able to notch their first win of the season and the first win in program history when they defeated Red Lake Nation College 76-24 at home on Saturday afternoon. Leading scorers for the Thunder included Claudia Turner with 30 points, Kami Diver with 16 points, and Shaelyn Halverson with 12 points. Congratulations to the team for making history!

Our Thunder men’s basketball team also earned their first victory of the season as they defeated Red Lake Nation College 124-72, setting a new team record for most points scored in a game. The Thunder had a balanced day of scoring including Deandre Bell leading the Thunder with 18 points off the bench, Michael Hall and Curtis Rogers with 16 points each, and Erik Adams added 13 points.
