Esko Hoops Event To Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank

Inspired by Nathan Bentley’s spirit of giving, the Esko Hoops Club is teaming up with Advantage Emblem and Halvor Lines, Inc. to host the 1st Annual “Pack the Gym, Pack the Food Shelf” night to collect food for the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Esko basketball teams in grades K-12 will be holding a friendly competition amongst themselves to see which team can collect the most food donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Collections will continue up to the girls’ Esko vs. Pequot Lakes game on January 15th and the boys’ Esko vs. Crosby-Ironton game on January 19th. Game times for both nights are as follows: JV at 5:45 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30 p.m. The winning girls’ and boys’ K-12 teams will win a pizza party at Eskomo Pizza Pies.

Fans are encouraged to participate by wearing gold and by bringing a non-perishable food item or cash donation to both the “Pack the Gym, Pack the Food Shelf” games.
