The Esko Eskomos hopped back on the winning track this Monday when they beat the Wrens 92-24. Coming off of a loss to Floodwood in the Esko Coach’s Classic, it was for nice for Esko to get a win at home.

With fourteen players landing in the scoring column, Esko easily rolled to the Polar league win. The Eskomos jumped out early and never looked back as they cruised to a half time lead of 52-11 and then went on to the big win.

Alyson Glumac led all scorers with 17 points on the night. Keely Deadrick and Katie Tonner joined in double figures also, adding 16 and 14 points respectively. Angie Wagemaker and Steph Bandelin each finished with 8 points. Julianne Carley added 6, while Charity Ferguson, Lydia Pelletier, and Kate Marquis all ended with 4 points.
Marisa Shady, Kallyn Knutson, Rachel Ofstie, Steph Miller and Brooke Schramm each had 2 points in the Eskomo win.

Maria Burcar led the Wrens in scoring, finishing with 13 on the night. Natalie Peaney added 8 points for Wrenshall, Sam Oland finished with 2 and Christina Laveau added 1 point.

The Eskomos improve to 8-1 on the season and will play again Thursday at Two Harbors. The Wrenshall Wrens fall to 0-9 on the season and are at home on Thursday as they host the #1 ranked Barnum Bombers.
