Section 7AA Boys

Armin Bobaric scored for Andover 9 minutes into over time as the Huskies from Andover shut out Duluth East to advance to the section 7AA title game on Tuesday. The Huskies will face Centennial who knocked off the top seeded Blaine Bengals to avenge a loss just two weeks ago. The Cougars and the Huskies will meet Tuesday night in Andover at 7:00 pm

Section 7AA Girls

The Huskies from Andover beat the number two seed Forest Lake Saturday by a score of 2-1 to advance to the section finals Tuesday night and the Huskies will face the top seed Coon Rapids. The Cardinals shut out St. Francis 1-0 Saturday afternoon in Coon Rapids.

Section 7A Boys

Hermantown and Grand Rapids pulled upsets Saturday as the section 7A quarterfinals were played across the northland.  The number 6 seed Hermantown beat the Lumberjacks by a score of 4-3 at Rol Bromberg field in Cloquet. The Hawks will travel to Monticello on Tuesday and they will face the Magic who shut out Eveleth-Gilbert 1-0 Saturday.

The other section 7A semi final will feature the top seeded Wildcats of Chisago Lakes as they will face Grand Rapids,  the Thunderhawks beat Duluth Marshall by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats shut out Duluth Denfeld by a score of 3-0 in Lindstrom Saturday afternoon.

Section 7A Girls

Britt Zieroth and Lexi Dewall scored second half goals Saturday as the Proctor Rails beat the Cloquet-Carlton by a score of 2-1 to advance to the section semifinals Tuesday night where the Rails will Face the top seeded Hermantown Hawks.  Anna Fosesn scored the lone Lumberjack goal in the loss. Hailey Hoff scored an overtime goal for the Hawks as the shut out Esko 1-0 in a tightly fought contest Saturday in Hermantown.

The six seeded Princeton Tigers upset the three seed Wildcats of Chisago Lakes Saturday afternoon by a score of 1-0 and the Tigers will take on Duluth Denfeld who scored five goals in a 5-1 win over Duluth Marshall. The Hunters had five different goal scorers as they meet the Tigers at home Tuesday night. Cali Marsaa, Paige Kessler, Emma Kloster, Alli McKenna, and Diadora Finley scored for the Hunters.
