Albrook 49 Cherry 47

The Albrook Falcons decided regulation time wasn’t enough as they took the Cherry Tigers into overtime on Monday. The Falcons outscored the Tigers 4-2 in the overtime session to win the St. Louis County Conference match-up by two points. Abigail Otis and Alyssa Johnson each scored 10 points for AlBrook. Taylor Sauter led the Tigers with 13.

Barnum 88 Carlton 22

The Bombers rebounded after losing their first regular season game in nearly two years Saturday with a big win at Carlton Monday. Katrina Newman scored 28 and Sarah Myhre added 18 in the Polar League Conference match-up. Carlton falls to 1-2 on the season and the Bombers move to 2-1.

Esko 65 Cloquet 37

The Esko Eskomos used a 21-point run over eight minutes in the first half to build an eleven point lead at the break.
Esko went on to win by 28. Keely Deadrick finished with 21 points and Amanda Bergstedt added 18 for Esko. Katie Pappas led Cloquet with 13 and Annabel Morrisroe finished with 12.

Floodwood 102 Wrenshall 20

Floodwood had five girl’s score in double figures Monday as the Polar Bears downed the Wrens at Wrenshall Monday night. Floodwood led by fifty five at the break and rolled to the huge Polar League win. Maria Burcar led the Wrens in scoring with 14 points.
