ML-WR Girls Win Season Opener

he Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels opened their season with a new coach and a stunning victory on Tuesday night
victory. New head coach Andrew Miller will be guiding the Rebels this season; and he is off to a good start as he posted a 76-35 victory over Mesabi East in his first game of the season.

The Rebels jumped out to an early lead and never looked back,
easily cruising to the forty-one point win. The Rebels look for a fast start on the season to set establish themselves early.

Junior guard Maddy Adamczak led the Rebels in scoring by pouring in 16 points on the night. Kathryn Coil, Rachel Mach and Peggy Stephan all added 10 points in the win. Natasha Dragicevich added 7 points, Samantha Johnson scored 6 points, Katie Youngberg added 3 and Alyssa Jusczak finished with 2 in the Moose Lake-Willow River win.

Moose Lake –Willow River will be in action again on Friday when they face the Proctor Rails at the Proctor High School.
