Polar Bears Remain Unbeaten

The Floodwood Polar Bears remained unbeaten Friday night as the Polar Bears knocked off the McGregor Mercuries by a score of 48-8 in conference play.

Floodwood rushed out to a 27-0 halftime lead and easily went on to the forty point win at home. Riley Brensdorf threw two touchdown passes both to Willow Christensen on of 50 yards and one of 8 yards, and Evan Suonvieri scored two rushing touchdowns for the Polar Bear.

Brody Graff, Noah Thompson, and Alex Larson each had a touchdown run in the Floodwood victory, while the Mercuries only touchdown came from Andrew DeMenge who scored on a 71 yard touchdown run.

Floodwood who moved to 6-0 will now face the Ilse Huskies (3-3) next Friday night in Isle, while McGregor fall to 2-4 this season and they will take on the Carlton Bulldogs (0-6) at home in a great Northern Conference contest.
