Esko Shuts Out Marshall 2-0

The Esko girls soccer team shut out the Marshall Hilltoppers on Thursday with a 2-0 victory.

Scoring for the Eskomos didn’t get started until late, when sophomore Kalee Monahan scored in the 50th minute to give the Eskimos all they’d need to get the victory. Esko put one more in the net when junior Kailee Kiminski scored just 10 minutes later to give the Eskimos the 2-0 lead and win.

Esko improves to 5-4-1 on the season and will be back in action when they take on the Duluth East Greyhounds (1-8) at Duluth East on September 23rd at 8 PM. Marshall fell to 4-4-0 on the season and will be back in action on September 28th when they travel to play the Hibbing/Chisholm Bluejackets (4-5).
