When the South Ridge Panthers take the field Friday night at home in Culver, the Panthers will take on unbeaten Ely in a Great North Conference match-up, the Panthers will be adding two more weapons back to their already potent line-up.

Dominic Janke who was injured in the first game of the season will return tonight when the Panthers meet the Timberwolves, but not only Janke returning to help offensively, Caleb Dallmann was cleared to play after doctors also cleared him after he broke his collar bone this summer in a dirt bike accident.

Dallmann will be another added force that plays on the line for the Panthers, and with Janke back and Bill Redding and Tim Wirtanen who missed the first game of the season due to basic training, the Panthers are poised to make another run towards the state playoffs.

The Panthers are already a potent offense led by Kody Karppinen who has thrown 16 touchdown passes in only three games this season for 860 yards and only 2 interceptions.

Reid Clark leads the Panthers in rushing with 121 yards on 22 carries as he is averaging almost 6 yards per carry. Drew Janke is Karppinen’s top target as he has 22 receptions for 419 yards and 7 touchdowns receptions.
