LSC Girls Soccer All-Conference Announced

All-Conference girls soccer selections have been announced. Several NSO area players received top honors, with Cloquet dominating the first team Lake Superior Conference roster.

Receiving first team nominations for the Jacks were forwards Haley Basset and Courtney Esse, midfielders Katie Pappas and Jesse Ryan, along with goalkeeper Kaitrin Rathe. Hermantown also placed two athletes, seniors Hannah Buchite and Chelsea Cossin on the first team. Lexi Eliason of Proctor joined the group on the first team as well.

Julia Gilbert and Megan Mullen of Hermantown, as well as Proctor’s Casie Ecklund came away with second team LSC honors.

Honorable mention awards were handed out to Zoe Berlinquette and Sam Nelson of Proctor, Cloquet’s Lena Swander and Ally Dieryck from Hermantown.

Esko/Carlton plays a non conference schedule in girls soccer, whose athletes therefore do not qualify for any all-conference awards.
