Esko To Host Volleyball Tourney Saturday

On Saturday, October 10th, the Esko Eskomos will host their annual volleyball tournament. Games for both varsity and junior varsity will begin at 9:00 am. Local teams from Esko, Carlton (JV), Cloquet, Moose Lake-Willow River and Hermantown are scheduled to compete with out of the area teams Deer River, Greenway and Duluth Marshall.



Teams will be divided into two pools with pool play used to rank for championship games. Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. See below for details:


Matches:
It will be 2 out of 3 rally to 25 points.
3rd to 15pts. (No cap).


Format:
This is an eight-team tournament.
The teams have been divided into two pools of four.
In case of a tie, the winner of their head to head game will advance.
If still tied, we will go to individual game win-loss record.
Our third criteria will be points.
If a fourth tie breaker is needed, we flip a coin.

1st in pools, play for the Championship

2nd in pools, play for 3rd place

3rd in pools, play for 5th place

4th in pools, play for 7th place
