Barnum football began practice August 12th, and with a new season comes new challenges. Though Barnum lost several great players last year, coach Brian Robertson feels confident that the Bombers will be able to stay competitive.

The Bombers have a sound front line returning with Tory Slater, Jaxon Lind and Brady Youngberg all taking there places to put up a wall against the opposition. Also returning will be Zach Carlson and Branden Newman, with Zach Peterson trying to fill the shoes of retired Daniel Warpula. Coach Roberson believes he has a good bunch of players moving up from junior varsity to take there place with the more experienced varsity players with hopes to defend their section title and advance back to the state football tournament.

The Bombers season will begin with a road trip to Rush City to take on the tigers on August 29th starting at 7pm and the Bombers will open their home season on Friday September 13th when they will host Crosby-Ironton.
