2012-2013 All Sports Championship

Member schools compete during the school year for the All Sports Championship Banner. The conference sponsors 23 MSHSL/WIAA athletic programs.  A member school’s place finish in each of the activities it sponsors in the conference earns points toward the all sports championship award.  Updates are made at the end of each sport season.  The banner represents the all around excellence for all the sports that a member school sponsors.

All of the twenty three sponsored sport programs for the fall, winter, and spring seasons are completed.  Cloquet High School has earned the award for 2012-2013.  Cloquet was atop the standings throughout the year.  It began with a fall season championship in Boys’ Cross Country and second places in Volleyball and Girls Soccer.  It held its lead posting championships in Girls Nordic Skiing, Boys Hockey, Girls Hockey, and Girls Alpine Skiing during the winter season.  The spring season brought Cloquet one conference championship, that being in Baseball.

Hermantown High School finished runner-up to Cloquet.  Hermantown had conference championships in Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Boys Hockey, Boys Alpine Skiing, Boys Golf, and Girls Track.
