Cherry Takes Home 3rd Place Trophy

The Cherry Tigers came back from a 2-0 deficit against the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds to win 6-5 in 8 innings. It was the a hard fought battle between to good teams. They needed an extra inning to take home the 3rd place trophy.

Cherry pitcher Kacey Herring pitched all 8 innings. She gave up 9 hits, 5 runs, 2 earned, walked 3 and struck out 11.

On offense they had 6 players with 2 hits each and 6 different players getting RBI’s.

Congrats to the Cherry Tigers for a great season.
