AlBrook Volleyball Girls Get First Win

Thursday night was a big night for the AlBrook volleyball team. The Falcons not only picked up their first win of the season, beating Mesabi East in three straight games, but did so in an impressive fashion. They won by scores of 25-7, 25-20 and 25-15.

Abby Otis dominated at the net for the Falcons with seven kills in the short match. Chelsea Hendrickson chipped in with 10 set assists and Kylene Fremling recorded five ace serves for AlBrook.

Haylee Donaldson and Carley Moisio did their part for the Giants by finishing with five kills and eight set assists respectively.

The Falcons will be looking to even their record at 2-2 when they travel to Silver Bay on Saturday to compete in the Silver Bay Tournament at 9:00am.
