Wrenshall Boys Start The Season 2-0

The Wrenshall Wrens got big games from Jared Kittel and Pat Gustafson and the result was a nine-point win over the Cromwell Cards. Kittel dumped in 26 points and Gustafson chipped in with 18 points for Wrenshall which took the 63-54 home win over the Cards.

While Kittel and Gustafson were having big games for the Wrens, the Cards got 16 points each from Jared Hutar and Hunter Rauvola in the loss.

Derek Duncan nearly was in double figures for the Wrens and finished with nine points, Matt O’Conner added eight points and Jessie Ellerbe contributed a pair of points for Wrenshall.

Scoring for the Cards were; Brandon Fairbanks with seven points, Tyler Hakamaki had five points and it was four points for Austin Pfistner.

Wrenshall has looked strong in its first two games and starts the season at 2-0, which equals the total number of wins from the last two seasons combined.
