Late Goals help Proctor Boys Secure A Tie

Two late goals helped the Proctor Rails garner a 3-3 tie at home versus Lake of the Woods in boys high school hockey play on Friday night in Proctor.

Lake of the Woods led the game 2-0 after the first period on goals from John Schell and Victor Dahl. Christian Ripley pulled Proctor to within 2-1 in the second period at 14:25, but the Rails gave up a goal to LOW’s Blake Olson at 7:35 of the third period and fell behind 3-1.


Jake Malec got the Rails to within a goal at 10:25 with an assist to Ty Rackcliffe, but it wasn’t until Cade Hella scored at 14:32 of the final period that Proctor was able to tie the game.

Neither team scored in the overtime session.
