Cloquet Girls Beat Marshall – Head to Esko on Monday

The Cloquet Lumberjacks prepared for next door neighbor Esko on Thursday night with a 3-0 tune-up win over Duluth Marshall in Cloquet. The Jacks will travel to Esko on Monday night.

On Thursday the Jacks throttled the Hilltoppers 25-19, 25-9 and 25-13 in notching the victory. The Cloquet service game was in full force on Thursday as they finished with 21-ace serves and 23-kills.

Sami Westendorf slammed down six kills and added five digs and seven ace serves for good measure. Olivia Mayasich recorded six kills and three ace serves and Alex Oakes notched 11-set assists and four ace serves.

Brianna Anderson led the Hilltoppers with four kills and two ace serves.
