The Esko volleyball team is now 2-1 on the season after taking a 3-0 win over Cook County on Thursday night in Esko. Esko swept by taking 25-15, 25-16 and 25-19 wins in the match.

Christina Houser pounded down 12-kills for the Eskomos, Courtney Johnston added 24-set assists and Nikki Mitchell had 3-ace serves against the Vikings who came into the match undefeated.

Esko, which lost their first match of the season to Hermantown, is now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Polar League. The Vikings are also 2-1 overall, but they fell to 1-1 in the Polar League.

The Eskomos will be back in action on Tuesday when the travel to Virginia.
