Section 7AA Prelim Track & Field Results

Prelims for Section 7AA track & field took place on Wednesday at Princeton with several local athletes qualifying for the finals and a berth to the state track and field meet at Hamline University in St. Paul.

Jeremy Peterson secured a spot in the state meet in the discus with a throw of 166’-02” to place third in Section 7AA. While the top two throwers get an automatic bid to the state meet, Peterson punched his ticket by surpassing the auto qualify mark of 156-04 by a full 10 feet.
