Lindquist Named Player of the Year

Jackson Lindquist is the 2012 Northlands Sports Online Player of the Year. Lindquist now joins the likes of Chad Calcaterra, Colton Karppinen, and Corey Kucza.

Lindquist, a three year starter for the Eskomos joined the 1000 point club for the Eskomos this season, he averaged over 21 points per game.

Jackson holds the school record for three-pointers in a game with 10 and a season record with 99, which he set last year. He also holds the career record with 257 three-pointers, including the 94 he made this season.

Lindquist’s offensive prowess made him one of the most dominating players in the Northland while compiling many of his accomplishments this season. Lindquist finished second in Esko school history of scoring with over 1500 points.

Jackson Lindquist is a three sport athlete. He has participated in the state cross country meet the last two years and he runs track. Jackson was an all-state honorable mention and was also all-state academic this year as well.
