Lake Superior Conference All-Conference Boys Hockey Team Announced

The Lake Superior Conference boys hockey team was announced on Thursday and a trio of Hermantown Hawks players led the first team as well as a pair of Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks.

Jared Thomas, Jared Kolquist and Brian LeBlanc were named to the first team from Hermantown. Thomas and Kolquist are forwards and LeBlanc a defender. CEC forward Karson Kuhlman was also named to the team as well as his teammate and goalie for the Jacks John Scheuer. Rounding out the team was Marshall’s high scoring forward Judd Peterson.

Second team forwards were; Levi Talarico of Denfeld, Ian Ecklund of Proctor and Nolan Holcome of Superior. Jake Bushey of Marshall and Brent Bukowski of Superior were the defenders on the second team and the goalie was Matt Mensinger of Hermantown.

Denfeld goalie Zach Thompson and his teammate Ben Campbell were named honorable mention as was Superior’s Dan Litchke.
