Saints Volleyball Drops Three Sets to Blugolds

DULUTH, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica Women’s Volleyball opened the week with a non-conference game on a Tuesday night versus the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds. The Saints would fall in a 3-0 decision (25-13, 25-13, 25-17. The loss continues an unfortunate streak for the Saints as their foes have now won the last 11 matches.

The Saints were led by Linsey Baribeau’s 7 kills while Ava Swangstue (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River HS) registered four. Setter Grace Myhre (Aberdeen, S.D./Aberdeen Central HS) had 15 assists in the evening, and getting the start at libero was Riley Panger (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), who recorded 10 digs in the loss.

The Saints will continue two more games at home this week, their next match will feature the Scots from Macalester College on 10/19 and then they’ll face St. Mary’s on Saturday 10/21.
