Wilderness Earn Split with Minot

NSO – Mark Edwards

Grant Docter scored late in overtime to lift the Minnesota Wilderness over the Minot Minotauros by a score of 2-1.

The game was scoreless for the first 44 minutes of play until Minot’s Damon Zimmer netted his 12th goal of the year with the assists going to Ross Roloson and Blaine Warnert.

Minnesota would tie the game just about midway through the third as Jacob Herter lit the lamp for the fourth time this season.

The game would remain tied through the rest of the third and most overtime before Docter’s heroics. Jacob Zacharewicz had 20 saves on the night to earn the win while Carter Clafton stopped 29 saves in the loss.
