Esko Places 5th At State

The Esko Eskomos opened up the 2018 state tournament with a triple overtime loss to St. Cloud Cathedral, 64-60. They would follow the loss up with a 62-59 win over Jordan and a 57-46 victory over Breckenridge to win 5th place in Class AA.

In the consolation championship, the Eskomos were led by Quinn Fischer who scored a team high 15 points. Fischer was followed by Ryan Pantsar, who scored 14 points, Payton Wefel who chipped in 9 points and Camden Berger who scored 8 points. Rounding out the scoring for Esko was Trevor Spindler with 5 points, Adam Trapp with 4 points, and Carter Northey with 2 points.

The Eskomos end their successful season with a 28-4 record.
