Bennett Leads Carlton Past Wrenshall

Alaina Bennett propelled the Carlton Bulldogs on Thursday night, scoring a game high 26 points in the 65-41 victory over the Wrenshall Wrens.Carlton gained an early advantage, outscoring the Wrens 33-10 in the first half. In the second half, the Bulldogs would have the 32-31 edge to secure the 24 point victory.Alongside of Bennett, Abby Mickle scored 17 points for the Bulldogs, while Millie Groth chipped in 10 points. Also scoring in the victory was Elizabeth House with 4 points. Brynne Mickle, Maddie Bailey, Jessica Anderson, and Gillian Davis all chipped in 2 points each in the win.In the loss for the Wrens, Hailey Tauzell scored a team high 21 points. Gracie Bergman and Haley Patritto added 8 points and 6 points respectively. Rounding out the scoring for Wrenshall was Alexis Perry, Hannah Lattu, and Taylor Bryce, all with 2 points a piece.The Bulldogs improve to 2-2 on the season and will be back in action on December 11th when they host the Northland Eagles (0-3).
