Kielty Leads Bombers To Win

Kyle Kielty scored 30 points for the Bombers, en route to the 54-33 victory over the Wrenshall Wrens on Friday night.

The Bombers used tough defense in the first half, holding a 31-12 lead as the buzzer sounded. The second half would be much of the same as Barnum outscored Wrenshall, 23-21 to secure the victory.

Daniel Gilchrist and Reece Parks would also help in the Bombers victory, scoring 9 points and 7 points respectively. Nolan Wickstrom, Tyler Nynas, and Colton Ziegler topped the Bombers scoring off with 2 points each.

Nick Mattson scored 16 points in the loss for the Wrens. Also for Wrenshall was Randy Wimmer adding 7 points, Jared Kelley scoring 5 points, Eli Krisak chipping in 3, and Phil Vine rounding it out with 2.

The Bombers improve to 3-8 on the year and will be back in action on January 17th when they face the Aitkin Gobblers. The Wrens fall to 8-5 on the year and will look to snap their four game losing streak on January 17th when they host the Silver Bay Mariners.
