The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels dropped their 4th consecutive game on Friday night, this time at the hands of the Aitkin Gobblers, 14-6.

The Gobblers would get on the board first with Caleb Curtiss scampering 23 yards to put Aitkin up 7-0 in the 1st quarter. The Gobblers would find the end zone again, this time on a 13 yard run from Sam Peterson to push the Aitkin lead to 14-0.

The Rebels would respond with their only score of the game in the 2nd quarter, when Bryceton Butkiewicz scored from 10 yards out.

The Rebels, who are now 3-4 on the year, have lost 4 consecutive games for the first time since 1993. They will look to bounce back on October 19th when they travel to play the Hermantown Hawks. The Gobblers are now 6-1 on the year.
