Class A State Hockey Bracket Released

The Class A State hockey bracket has been released with the Section 7A champion, Hermantown Hawks, receiving the top seed.

The Hawks (24-2-1) will play the Section 3A champion, the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons (20-8), on March 2nd, with the puck dropping at 6pm.

The Section 2A champions, Breck Mustangs (24-3-1), who received the 2nd seed, will open the tournament up on March 2nd, squaring off with the Section 1A champions, Mankato West (15-11-2). The game will start at 11am

Following the first game of the day, the Section 8A champion and 3rd seeded Thief River Falls Prowlers (22-6) will face off against Princeton (21-7), who won Section 5A. They will drop the puck at approximately 1pm.

In the final game on March 2nd, the Section 4A champion and 4th seeded St. Paul Academy Spartans (23-5) will matchup with the Section 6A champion and 5th seeded St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (20-7-1) with a start time of 8pm.
