The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College football coaching staff has been quite busy lately. The staff has been out across the state putting on football camps locally while also extending that reach into southern Minnesota.

Two weeks ago head coach of the Thunder, Keith Turner, and his staff put on a clinic in Barnum. The camp was hosted by Barnum head coach Kevin Haley and included a session for youth in the morning and high school age players in the afternoon.

Meanwhile Thunder assistant coach Terry Fawcett recently coached at former Minnesota Viking’s linebacker, Ben Leber’s camp at the University of St. Thomas. The camp was held June 22-25th and Fawcett was the head coach of the 7-9 year old age group at the Leber camp.

Turner, and his staff, also worked a camp at United South Central High School located in Wells, Minnesota just a week ago. Fawcett and the head coach at USC both worked the Leber camp together and that is where the Thunder coaching staff was approached about helping the Class 1A program by putting on a camp for surrounding communities. One of the reasons the USC coaches wanted Turner and his crew to put on a camp was to learn the intricate spread offensive system that Turner has installed at FDLTCC.
