Cromwell Survives McGregor

Carter Karppinen tallied 18 points as he led the Cromwell Cardinals to a 65-59 victory over the McGregor Mercs.

Karpinnen also hit four three-pointers.

The first half would be close, as Cromwell only led 28-21, and the second half would be no different.

McGregor outscored the Cardinals by one point, 38-37, but it wouldn’t be enough, as the Cardinals would take the close 65-59 win.

Scoring for Cromwell was Tyler Randall 17, Sam Kemper 11 Marcus Pocernich 10, Zion Smith 9.

Cole Gelhar had a nice night for McGregor, as he scored 22 points in the loss.
