The Minnesota Wilderness picked up another crucial victory Friday night as the Wilderness defeated the Austin Bruins 2-1 at Riverside Arena Friday.

Jack Forbort scored the Wildernesses first goal early in the third period with an assist coming from Tyler Vold.

The Wilderness went ahead 2-0 when Aaron Miller scored with assists from Nick Altman and Janis Jaks.

Jan Stefka scored a goal with 1:49 left in the third period to bring Austin within 2-1, but the Bruins couldn’t tie things up, as the Wilderness improve to 19-7-3 overall.

Luke Kania stopped 21 Bruin shots for the victory.

Kristofer Carlson had 36 saves for Austin 16-12-1 overall.
