Baker leads CEC Past Red Knights

Helping CEC jump out to a 2-0 lead in the 2^nd period of play was Kayla Baker, scoring two goals in the victory.

Baker scored at the 4:18 mark in the first period for the quick one goal lead over Benilde-St.Margarets.

In the second period, it was Baker again, as she netted her second goal in the 10:08 mark for the 2-0 lead. The assist would be courtesy of Kiana Bender.

Benilde –St.Margarets would finally get on the board, scoring in the third period thanks to a goal from Samantha Deterding at 15:10. The comeback attempt would fall short, as CEC won 2-1.

Erin Genereau ended with a solid 35 saves for the Lumberjacks.
