Hawks Fall In Close Battle With Princeton

Reed Mitchell led the way with 25 points for Princeton, as they took home a hard fought win 73-71 over the Hermantown Hawks.

 

Taking a 10-point lead at halftime, as the score was 36-26 favoring the Tigers, Hermantown came back attacking in the second, making it a very close game the rest of the way.

 

Hermantown would outscore Princeton 45-37 in the second half, but it just wasn’t enough. Leading the Hawks in scoring was Nick Bostrom and Christian Comstock, who both had 16 points.

 

Also scoring for the Hawks was Caleb Steinert and Daniel Hedstrom with 10, Thomas Madison 9, Zack Brendon, Isaac Hiner 4, and Jordan Senegal 2.

 

Princeton saw scores from Allen Lindner with 16, Brady Peterson 14, Marques Flicek and Ben Jungroth 7, James Flicek and Shane Fleury 2.

 

The Hawks will look to rebound, as they will visit conference foes Proctor November 8th.
