Grand Rapids Outlasts Cloquet

It was an up and down game for the Cloquet Lumberjacks, as they saw a nice lead dwindle away Thursday night.  After leading 26-16 at the half, Grand rapids would storm back in the second.

Outscoring the Jacks in the second 40-17, led by nice defense, the Thunderhawks came out victorious 56-43.  Leading the charge for Grand Rapids was Nate Seelye with 17 points.

Also scoring for the Thunderhawks was Jake Skelly 14, Cole Herring 6, Bryce Prochaska 5 ,Jake Anderson 5, Jake Namyst 3, Isaac Brown 2, Tyler Baird 2, and Christian George 2,

Cloquets high point man on the night would be Brandon Hill with 16.  Bryce Turnbull also had double digits for the Jacks with 11.

Also scoring in the loss for Cloquet was Josh Bushey 6, Jordan Diver 5, Riley Johnson 4, and Tyler Moose with 1.

The Lumberjacks will look to turn things around, as they travel to take on Denfeld next week.  Grand Rapids will travel this weekend to face off with Big Lake.
