Floodwood Cruises Past Wrens

In girls basketball action last night, it was the host Floodwood Polar Bears coming out on top 68-33.  Leading the way for the Polar Bears was Megan Aho, as she poured in 27 points in the win.

After leading 39-22 at halftime, Floodwood looked to extend that lead, and they did, outscoring the Wrens 29-11 in the second half.

Floodwood’s Marissa Johnson had 13, Ryann Koivisto 10, Alyssa White 9, Alexis Stokke 3, Lauren Johnson 2, Anna Hall 2, Mary Rohde 2 in an all around effort.

The leading scorer for the Wrens was Delaney Kittel with 13 points.  Also scoring for Wrenshall was Shana Laveau with 10, Kaitlyn Kelley 8, and rounding it out was Paige Hellgren with 2.

Floodwood will look to add another win, hosting Greenway on the 7th, while Wrenshall will look to rebound with a win against Lakeview Christian Academy away on December 8th.
