Cloquet Boys Beat Superior, Lose To East

It’s been mixed results for the Cloquet baseball team in the past couple of days. On Monday the Jacks got a big pitching performance from Taylor Blundell to down Superior 2-0 and on Tuesday they dropped an 11-1 decision to Duluth East at Wade Stadium.

In the win over Superior, Blundell tossed a seven inning one-hitter and Adam Hanson bashed out three hits including a double, while Derek Anderson had an RBI and Eric Peterson doubled and scored a run.

On Tuesday the Jacks struggled offensively against East pitcher Craig Best who shut the Cloquet bats down. Leading East at the plate was Mickie Keuning who had three hits and three RBIs.
