Tyler Tollerud pitched his strongest game of the season on Monday night and the Cloquet Lumberjack baseball team demolished Duluth Marshall 12-2 in six innings.

“Tolly pitched his best game of the season,” said Cloquet coach Steve Jezierski. “He just threw strikes and let them put the ball in play.” Tollerud walked just one batter; he struck out two and gave up a total of five hits in taking the win.

Adam Hanson led the hit parade with a two-run double and a single, while both Kyle Becker and Dedric Clark each finished with a pair of hits.

The Lumberjacks will finish the regular season at home on Tuesday against Duluth Central and against Grand Rapids at home on Thursday night before entering the sectional playoffs.
