Cloquet Students Compete In Alternative Energy Competition

On Saturday a group of Cloquet students competed in the First Annual Kid Wind and High Tech Kids Alternative Energy Competition. There were 16 teams total in the competition, and the students performed very well, finishing high in the competition.


The Seventh Grade group composed of Braden Martin, Braden Lawrence, Brynnda Foster, and Konner Sorenson, Placed 2nd over all. The 8th Grade Mixed Group composed of Jordan Anderson, Madi Bohren, Alec Martin, Jacob Larsen, and Emma Waugh placed 3rd over all. And lastly, the 6th grade group placed 4th.


Commenting on the students efforts, Cloquet Teacher/Advisor Dusty Rhoades stated, “It was a great day, a great competition, and the kids all did a great job.”
