Jake Malec ran for three touchdowns Saturday afternoon as the Proctor Rails defeated the Titans of Greenway Nashwauk- Keewatin by a final score of 40-6.

Malec who rushed for 82 yards overall scored the Rails first three touchdowns on runs of 44, 3, and 28 yards to give the Rails a 19-0 lead in the second quarter.

The Rails John Aase added the Rails fourth touchdown as he intercepted a Zach Pocquette pass and raced 99 yards for the interception return for the touchdown to make it 26-0 at the break.

AJ Maas made it 33-0 as he scored on a 5 yard touchdown run in the third quarter, and Jerid Parrott capped the Rails scoring with a 1 yard run late in the third quarter.

Andy Johannsen scored the Titans lone touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 4 yard run to make it  a 40-6 final score.

Malec who had the 82 yards rushing also 5-16 passing for 126 yards on the day. AJ Maas had 97 yards on 16 carries int he Rails win.

John Aase finished with 3 receptions for 94 yards and added the interception return for the touchdown.
