Rebels Offense Explodes Past Hilltoppers

Cade Pierson – NSO

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels are the nine-time defending 7AA champion, and they look for their 10th this year.  The Rebels offense had a total of 558 yards, with 489 of them coming on the ground.

Moose Lake was lead by a three-headed monster on the ground, as Bryceton Butkiewicz, Wyatt Lampel, and Thomas Hansen combined for six touchdowns.  Moose Lake took a 36-14 halftime lead, and never looked back.

The Rebels would score in double digits in every quarter of play except for the fourth, in which they scored 8.

Cullen Mudrak would find the end zone twice for the visiting Marshall in the losing effort.  Marshall finished the season 0-9.  The final score of the playoff action would be 58-27.

The Rebels, and their high-powered offense will host Rush City (7-2) Saturday night.
