Esko Girls One Better Than Silver Bay In 10-9 Win

Esko got just enough pitching and just enough hitting to pull out a 10-9 victory in high school softball on Tuesday afternoon over Silver Bay.

Abbey Saralampi picked up the pitching win for the Eskomos, while Katyanna Emanuel led the hitting attack with three hits. Lending solid bats to the win for Esko were freshman Morgan Pera with two hits and 8th grader Ashley Bergerson who came up with three clutch RBIs.

The duo of Taylor Guzzo and Nikki Babbitt led the Mariners with two hits apiece.

With the win the Eskomos are now 2-4 on the season and will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Greenway.
